Terms of service

The contract for using saict.online, ordering a plan, and calling the desk. Disclosures required by the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 sit here.

Who we are

SAICT Online — South African ICT, reached on the web. Cape Town operations, national desk. Support: support@saictonline.co.za. Accounts: accounts@saictonline.co.za. A full registered address and VAT number appear on invoices once they are issued.

The service

Urgent remote and on-site ICT work, monthly plans (Signal Cover, Link Protected, Circuit Advanced), advisory, automations, and takeovers. Nexus Premium is scoped on briefing, not sold from the cart. Fibre and LTE are SAICT Online services; you speak to this desk.

Orders and cooling-off

Checkout requires a signed-in account. Placing an order generates an invoice, a receipt, and a follow-up ticket. Prices on the site exclude VAT; VAT at 15% is added at checkout. Payment is by EFT against the invoice unless we agree otherwise. Electronic transactions: where ECTA section 44 gives a cooling-off right, you may cancel a consumer order within seven days of placing it, unless work has already started at your request (urgent restoration, a site visit booked, a line ordered). Circuit takeovers that have begun are not unwindable as unused goods.

Consumer Protection Act

We do not use fine print to dodge a fair job. If we cannot do the work we said, we say so and we refund what you prepaid for that work. Direct marketing can be refused. Complaints: write support@saictonline.co.za first. You may also use the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the National Consumer Commission where the CPA applies.

Liability

We restore and advise with care. We are not your insurer. We are not liable for loss of profit, data you did not back up, or downtime at a third-party provider we do not control. Nothing here limits liability we cannot exclude under the CPA or for gross negligence.

Law

South African law. Courts of the Western Cape, without taking away a consumer’s right to another competent forum. We may update these terms; the date below is the version that binds a new order.
