Compliance

The other South African rules this desk actually runs under — not a wall of badges.

FICA

SAICT is an ICT desk, not a bank. Where the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001 requires customer due diligence — billed business accounts, takeovers, hardware that we place in your name — we will ask for identity, address, and (for a company) registration details before the work proceeds. We keep those records for the period the Act requires. We will not complete an order we cannot attribute to a person, and we will not ignore a suspicion we are obliged to report. That is also why checkout is behind a sign-in.

PAIA

A Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 manual is available on written request to support@saictonline.co.za. It describes the records we hold and how to request access. POPIA rights (access to your own information) are in the privacy notice.

RICA and the line

We do not intercept communications. Where a new SIM or LTE service is provisioned, RICA is done by the licensed operator, not by this website.

Disclaimer

The site is information and a way to instruct the desk. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice. Power failures, surges, fibre cuts, and third-party outages happen; we work them, we do not promise they will not. VAT numbers and a street address appear on the tax invoice. Until then, Cape Town operations and the emails above are how you reach us.

Security of the desk

Open web forms without an account invite spam and fraud. Orders, invoices, and tickets require a signed-in account (Google, X, or email). Urgent help remains available without a plan; abuse of that form may be blocked.
